 The Opportunity:

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join its Charlotte, NC office. The incumbent, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, will be responsible for all aspects of client bill preparation according to both client and attorney specifications, including but not limited to: processing edits, printing and mailing invoices. Responsibilities also include the preparation and submission of electronic invoices in accordance with client and vendor guidelines as well as researching and resolving issues associated with electronic invoicing. This position will also provide time and billing application support to users firm-wide.

 Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Must have good organizational and analytical skills, the ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize tasks and handle the pressure of meeting deadlines
  • Must work well in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills to communicate with all levels of staff and attorneys.
  • Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting.
  • 2+ years of general office experience is required.
  • Prior law firm billing experience preferred.

Work Hours: M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm. The position, may at times, require more than 37.5 hours per week to accomplish essential duties of the position. Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
