Snell & Wilmer L.L.P, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the western United States is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Financial Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Phoenix office. This role will be the primary point of contact for tier 2 technical support and will be instrumental in the maintenance and enhancement of the firm's critical financial systems.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the firm's financial systems. This includes, but is not limited to, Aderant, Intapp, Chrome River, iTimekeep, BillBlast, Insights, Prebill Viewer, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The role will involve troubleshooting and resolving tier 2 technical issues, performing routine environmental maintenance, and actively participating in system upgrades and other project-related initiatives. The specialist will report to the Director of Financial Systems and work closely with the Finance and IT departments to ensure the integrity, reliability, and optimal performance of all financial applications.
This position is Monday through Friday, standard business hours with occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed for system maintenance and upgrades. You will also, have the opportunity to be primarily remote in this position, but we value in-person collaboration. Therefore occasional in-person attendance will be required for team meetings, collaborative projects, or special events.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary escalation point for tier 2 technical support for all financial systems, providing timely and effective resolution to user issues. Investigate and troubleshoot complex system and data-related problems.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the health and performance of the financial application environment. This includes monitoring system activity, managing user access and security, refreshing test environments, and applying patches and updates as required.
- Project and Upgrade Assistance: Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and vendors to assist in the planning, testing, and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline financial workflows and system processes. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Reporting and Data Integrity: Utilize SSRS and other reporting tools to create and maintain financial reports. Assist in data integrity initiatives by identifying and correcting data discrepancies within the various systems.
- User Training: Provide guidance and support to end-users to ensure the effective use of the firm's financial applications.
