Greetings ADERANT Expert User Community Colleagues,
The weekend of September 24 marks the AEUC’s transition to our new website. The board is excited to be able to provide the user community a modern, well engineered and comprehensive site that supports all of our members.
The conversations that were available on the old site have been migrated to the new, and the folder structure for these postings has, for the most part, remained intact. As with any new system, there will be new things to learn, new modes of navigation to master and new features to be explored. With all the newness there will likely be challenges as well. We encourage our members to provide constructive, positive feedback and to assist their fellow users in mastering the AEUC’s new site.
“AEUC’s site” illustrates how we would like everyone to think about this transition. Our community contains a wide breadth of knowledge on so many topics. The board continues to encourage the positive, collaborative and supportive sharing of information. The new site is designed to provide a safe environment where members are free to post any questions or issues that are appropriate to this forum, and offers the ability to explore the use of various forms of social media. These options will be explored in the coming months and we encourage the community to offer suggestions on how we can most effectively use these new tools.
The board would like to thank all those who had a hand in developing the new site, testing its functionality and providing valuable feedback to ensure the smoothest transition possible. I extend a special thank you to Jim Harris and Swen Nielsen, both of whom managed this project so well while still working their “day jobs.”
What follows is a brief introduction to the new site with some important information, including an opportunity for you to win a reward just for checking out it out.
Kind regards,
Scott Hunt
